I Want to save a life with Naloxone?

Watch this video to learn how

What is Naloxone

Naloxone (also known as Narcan) is a safe, fast-acting medication that reverses opioid overdoses by blocking the effects of opioids in the brain. It has no effect on someone who does not have opioids in their system, so it is safe to give to anyone who is unresponsive or not breathing, no matter what caused it. Naloxone is not addictive, cannot be misused to get high, and has minimal side effects. It comes as a nasal spray and starts working within minutes.

If you’d like naloxone for yourself or your family member you can get it for free at the Whiteriver IHS pharmacy 24/7, the Whiteriver Emergency Room or call a Substance Use Navigator to get more information: 480-363-3981 or 480-430-2012.
